Essential Qualification & Experience
(i) Qualification: Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent
(ii) Experience: At least 13 years of experience as Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18 years experience as a College Librarian. Evidence of innovative library service, organization of published work and computerization of library
(iii) Desirable: Ph.D. degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/ Archives and Manuscript Keeping/ Computerization of Library.
(iv) Age Limit: Preferably below 55 years. The Institute reserves the right to relax the Age Limit in case of candidates who are otherwise found suitable by the selection committee.
