Advertisement for the
post of Technical Assistant/Junior Assistant :- Department of Sociology,
University of Delhi
The Department proposes
to hire one/two persons, on a contractual basis, as Technical Assistant/Junior
Assistant to attend to digitalization of documents and related work in the
Resource Centre for a period of six months.
Applications are invited from candidates with the following
qualifications:
Essential:
a) Graduate
b) Degree/diploma in Library Sciences
and/or Degree/diploma in computer applications from a recognized institute.
Desirable:
a) Experience in documentation and
cataloguing using currently popular operating systems, programming languages,
computer network and environments.
Consolidated salary will
be negotiated as per University Guidelines and will be commensurate with the
candidates’ experience.
