Eligibility:- Essential:
i.Master's Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks ( or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is
followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of
computerization of library.
ii.Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC
or any other agency approved by the UGC.
iii.However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D Degree in accordance with the " University Grants Commission ( Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of University Assistant Librarian .
Desirable:
Sanskrit as one of the subject at graduate level.
5.Semi Professional Assistant (01-0BC,02- UR) Direct/Deputation/ Contract
Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800
Essential:-
i B. Lib. information Science.
Age limit: 30 years
Desirable:-
i M. Lib. Information Science or AIS/ALIS
ii PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA
ii Knowledge of Sanskrit, Hindi and English.

Pay Band Rs. 4440-7440 Grade Pay Rs. 1650
Essential:-
i. Uttar- Madhyama/ 10+2 with 50% marks or equivalent from a recognized
School/ Institution.
ii. At least three years experience in library in any position.
Age limit: 35 years
Desirable:-
i. Knowledge of duplicating/ Xerox copying machine.
ii. Certificate course in Library Science from a recognized institution .
iii. Knowledge of Sanskrit

At present, the total emoluments at the minimum of pay will be Rs. 19,539=00 per month. He/she is entitled to Casual Leave & Earned Leave, P.F. and medical benefits. Qualifications & Experience requirements:
