Walk in interview for the post of "Library Assistant" [01 post] required at the Library, VSI to be held on 26th June 2013 at 11.00 a.m. Name of the Post: LIBRARY ASSISTANT - [01 post] Department/ Section: Library Compen- sation(per month) Rs.12,000/- per month fixed Starting Emolument: Rs. 1,44,000/- per annum Job Profile:*Library work related to Circulation, Acquisition. *Barcoding and related Work. *Web and Online Searches including Databases. *Library Correspondence. *Library Data Maintenance. Candidate Profile:*Master of Library & Information Science.  *Knowledge of Computer Work. *Should be acquainted with SLIM Software. Qualification:Master of Library & Information Science. Experience:  Minimum 2 years in overall handling of library activities and services. Terms & Conditions: Compensation Rs.12,000/- per month fixed. No TA/DA will be provided.
